• Men Its Time For A Change

The transition to Spring cuts is almost here, which means trimming that Winter hair and beard. Salon Diva can help with your transition. Whether you are looking for a simple haircut like a buzz or a crew cut or maybe something with longer layers on top with a side fade. The option you choose really does come down to how much time you are willing to spend on your hair.

Things to consider for Spring 2018:

    • Maintenance – How often will you need to get your hair cut to keep on top of the style?
    • Time – How much time are you willing to spend styling your hair?
    • Products/Budget – Are you willing to style your hair with hair products? Are you will to purchase the exact products you need to recreate the look at home to the same standard?
    • Equipment – Are you open to using a hairdryer or hair tools to keep the style looking its best?
    • Personal Style – What kind of clothes do you wear and how would you describe your personal style? There is probably no point opting for an edgy, rockabilly-inspired slicked-back undercut if you like to dress timeless and refined at all times.
    • Job – Is your haircut smart/practical enough for work?

also you may want to consider these points when talking with your Diva Stylist like …

    • How will it look wet or dry
    • Do you like your scalp to show on the sides
    • The top – will you wear it flat, un-kept or spiky
    • Do you prefer the top to be long enough to fall on your face
    • Or be able to sweep it off to the side

Your Diva Stylist can guide and advise you on what will suit you and your face shape, as well as detailing what’s currently ‘in-STYLE’.

  • – Microblading –

    The Art of Microblading
Have you ever wondered why you were missing the eyebrow gene, or
wish you could take back those sporadic late night tweeting episodes?

The new beauty trend, Microblading, is a semi-permanent cosmetic
tattooing method that is performed by manually depositing pigment into the
dermis (the second layer of the skin). Because it is an art that is performed by
hand, using a unique tool consisting of a specific formation of needles chosen

based on skin type and desired shape, the artist is able to deliver hair like
strokes into the skin. This results in a very natural looking brow. Those who

prefer a bolder brow may also request a soft fill accompanying the hair stoke

Microblading is recommended for anyone wishing to reconstruct, cover

gaps, define, or fill-in over plucked brows. It is also ideal for anyone with
naturally very thin/light colored brows seeking to bring them back to life again.
Whether your desired shape is arched, narrow/delicate or boldly filled in, it is an

ideal solution that may last eight months to one year. Pre-care instructions are
available to prepare for your session.

A typical session takes two hours to complete and should never be
rushed. During your session, the color and shape will be determined between
you and your technician to ensure utmost satisfaction. Before Microblading
begins, a topical numbing cream is applied to minimize discomfort, and once the

first pass has been completed, a second liquid anesthetic will be applied.

The best part about this technique is there is no down time involved,
however the healing process varies for each individual based on numerous
factors such as the artist’s technique, color selection, overall health of the skin,
and how well post-care instructions are followed. These instructions will be

discussed and given to you at the end of your session. In addition, it is
recommended to schedule the follow-up appointment 4-6 weeks after the
brows are healed, which typically takes between 25-40 days depending on the
    aforementioned factors.
